The framework, distilled
Core thesis: track activity, not emotions. Beginners fail outreach because they never know what's working — they send randomly, then blame the channel. Under 3 min/day of tracking: number, number, number, notes.
Daily tracker columns (the xlsx, verbatim): Date · DMs Sent · DM Replies · DM Follow-ups · Cold Calls Made · Cold Call Conversations · Calls Booked · Notes.
Program's foundational-phase weekly targets (full-time assumption):
- Cold calling = MAIN driver: 100+/day, 700+/wk → 120-200 convos → 12-20 booked. Benchmarks: 20-30% connect, 5-10% booking.
- DMs = secondary: 25-50/day personalized, 175-350/wk → 15-30 convos → 3-10 booked. Benchmarks: 10-15% reply, 25-30% booking from replies.
- Time: 3 hrs calls + 30-60 min DMs + 15-30 min follow-ups (<5 hrs/day).
- Funnel math: 100 calls → 20 convos (20%) → 5 booked (25%) → 1 client (20%). 500 calls/wk at $2K retainers ≈ $10K/mo.
Outreach vehicle rules: follow the DATA, not comfort · pick ONE primary vehicle, commit 7-14 days before judging · don't split focus early ("divided effort kills momentum") · not hitting minimums = an ACTIVITY problem, not a sales/lead/pipeline problem — fix volume first.
Diagnostics ladder (where's it breaking?):
- No conversations → weak opener / no hook / no call control.
- Convos but no bookings → poor control / weak CTA / no pain pulled (no pain = no urgency).
- Bookings but no closes → not enough emotion pulled / unclear offer / no confidence.
Advanced tracking (only once volume is consistent): template performance, open rates, response length (longer = more engaged), area-code pickup rates, 12+ message convos, eager-vs-pushed bookings.
Rio adaptation (the honest translation)
The program assumes full-time phone grinding. Rio's machine is different, but the LESSON transfers directly — his own history proves it: 0/23 cold email wasn't a channel verdict, it was untracked low volume + weak angle. What changes:
- Rio's channel map: email rail (10/wk cap, gated) = "DMs sent" equivalent · IG DMs (teardown machine) = the DM channel proper · cold calls = live and legitimate for the local barrels — the pool + cleaning leads came from the Apify Maps scrape WITH phone numbers. Damion's cold-call operation is the dead channel; Rio dialing his own scraped barrel is not.
- Week-1 realistic floors (Rio-scale, not program-scale): 10 DMs/day + 10 dials/day on the 33-lead barrel + every rail send logged. Volume floor first, then ratchet. Judge NOTHING until 7-14 days of data (the program's own rule).
- Primary vehicle for the 33-lead week (7/6-7/12): teardown DM/email + targeted calls on the hot locals (Custom Pools, Miami Pool Experts, Epiclean). If week-1 data says calls out-book DMs, calls get the 3-hour block — data, not feelings.
- The tracker's HOME = the Command "Coach" tab (built + live 2026-07-05, uprise-command.pages.dev): log dials/convos/DMs/replies/follow-ups in <3 min → weekly rates auto-computed vs the Brez benchmarks (color-coded), booked count read straight from the pipeline, the diagnostics ladder runs automatically, 7-day consistency table. Endpoint
/api/kpistores days in settings K/V (kpi:<date>). This is the CSM. Fallbacks: the Books "KPI Tracker" tab (Selena writes rows if Rio texts numbers) + the one-line 📊 field in the daily-note template. Log in ONE place; Command is primary. - Diagnostics mapping: rail reply rate <10% after ~30 sends → opener/angle problem (ladder step 1). Replies but no booked growth calls → CTA/pain problem (step 2). Calls booked but no closes → offer clarity/confidence (step 3, pull discovery-framework).
Outreach Vehicle Parts B&C (added 2026-07-05 evening)
The refinement cycle: Test → Record → Change → Repeat. One niche, one script, one opener, one CTA — stick with it a FULL WEEK of volume (not 20 calls), then change exactly ONE variable. Never change everything at once.
5 refining methods: (1) improve the first 5 seconds — pattern interrupt + personalization + clear reason for the call; (2) find winning patterns — niche-wide pain, fastest booking offer, best pickup time windows; (3) objection tracking — log every objection, count frequency, script responses for the top ones; (4) double down on what works — scale the winner, don't channel-hop; (5) volume before tweaking — the best strategy is the one that happens every single day.
🎯 VEHICLE DECISION 2026-07-06 → 2026-07-19 (two-week commit, per the program's own rule)
Primary = PHONE-FIRST on the local half of the 33-lead barrel (pools, cleaning, salons, restaurants, medspas — they're local, they have scraped phone numbers, and they're the guide's Tier 2/3 winners). Rio's pattern interrupt is already built: "I already made you something — your teardown page is live" = the Lee preview-before-pitch playbook transposed to cold. Nobody else calls with an asset already built. Secondary = IG DM teardowns (10/day floor, machine exists). Rail keeps running at its 10/wk cap (automated, zero marginal time, NOT the primary — capped volume can't be a primary vehicle by definition). Week-1 script lock (one of each, no mid-week changes): opener = name + one SPECIFIC leak from their teardown + "took 2 min, it's live, want me to text it?" · CTA = text the page → 15-min growth call (calendly.com/uprisegrowth/growth-call). Objections logged in the KPI Notes column. Call window bet: local service owners answer EARLY (crews roll 7-9 AM) — dial 8:30-10:30 AM, log pickup rates by hour, let the data set week 2's window. What warm data already says: referrals = 5/5 closes, $2,925 = 100% of revenue. Warm stays open-lane always (doctrine from 7/3), but it's not schedulable volume — cold phone + DM is what gets measured these two weeks.
📞 WEEK-1 CALL SCRIPT (locked 2026-07-05, from Scripts & Outlines A&B — lead-gen skeleton, Rio's voice, teardown-powered)
Source doc: Copy of Scripts Objections and Outlines Part A&B.pdf (Downloads). Program's 6-beat lead-gen structure: opener+pause → reason → 10-20s value drop → soft qualification → offer → book close-to-today. Key reminders: active listening > word-for-word · no commission breath — you have 30 more calls · they share a problem = go deeper, pull emotion · goal = book the meeting, NOT close the deal · stick to the script for a full week.
Rio's version (the frame is locked; wording flexes to his mouth, per the Closer rule):
- Opener: "Hey, this is Rio — I know you're probably in the middle of the day so I'll keep it quick. Bad time?" (pause, let them answer)
- Reason: "I run a growth agency down here and I was looking at [Business] earlier — honestly ended up building you something. It's a quick page showing the spots where you're leaking customers online. It's already live."
- Value drop (their #1 leak from the teardown, 10-20 sec): e.g. Custom Pools: "the big one — your website's straight-up down right now, anyone who Googles you hits a dead page." Epiclean-type: "you're a four-city operation running on a gmail inbox and stock photos — customers can't tell you're the real one."
- Soft qualification: "how are most of your customers finding you right now — referrals, Google...?" (vague answer → "totally get it, that's the exact thing I work on")
- Offer: "want me to text you the page? and if it hits, we grab 15 minutes and I'll walk you through what fixing it looks like. if not, keep the page — it's yours either way."
- Book: "what's better, later today or tomorrow morning?" (two options, close-to-today — long gap = no-show)
Why this beats the stock script: beat 2 is the preview-before-pitch pattern interrupt (the Lee close, cold). "Keep the page either way" kills commission breath structurally. Objection handling: NOT in this PDF (filename says Objections, content is scripts only) — if the module has a dedicated objections doc, download it. Until then: Command's Outreach Studio reply-handlers ("too expensive" reframe, ghosted re-engage) + log every phone objection in the KPI Notes column; top-2 get scripted at Sunday's review. DM version = same 6 beats compressed: specific leak + "built you a page, it's live [link]" + "want the 15-min walkthrough?" (already the teardown machine's DM shape — no change needed.)
Course DM scripts (Scripts Part C, mined 7/6) — 3 styles per lane, rotate as week-2 test variables:
- Lead gen: A Friendly Question ("are you doing anything to generate leads each week, or mostly word of mouth?") · B Value-First Audit ("spotted a couple simple fixes that could get you more qualified leads without more ad spend") · C Micro Pitch ("had an idea... should I send it over?" → yes → get email → send → follow up toward the call).
- E-com (future DTC lane): A Soft Audit ("noticed one small thing with your ad setup") · B Compliment + Question ("running Meta ads consistently, or mostly organic?") · C Curiosity Hook ("noticed something about how people engage with your product pages").
- Rules: a few sentences MAX · always end with a question (people hate leaving questions on read) · prove you know their world in 1-2 lines · e-com inboxes are flooded — voice memos stand out · lead gen = low pressure, e-com = show expertise.
- Rio's read: his teardown DM = Style B with receipts (a live page beats "I spotted fixes"). Style C's micro-pitch is the cheap A/B test when a teardown page isn't built yet; Style A is the soft opener for warm-ish IG follows.
